Our customer base spans the entire U.S. and Canada, serviced through our dealer network. We are looking for an individual to travel across the country and assist our dealers with demonstrations as well as provide training to the dealers' sales staff.
Key Responsibilities:• Conduct live demonstrations of Larson Cable Trailers’ products at trade shows, customer locations, and industry events.
• Train customers and field crews on the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of cable trailers.
• Provide technical guidance on underground and overhead cable installation using our equipment.
• Travel to various locations to support customers with product demonstrations and training.
• Gather customer feedback to assist in product development and improvement.
• Assist the sales team by showcasing the advantages and features of Larson Cable Trailers.
• Ensure all safety protocols and best practices are followed during demonstrations and training.
• Learn about the proper and safe handling of our trailers and accessories and be able to train dealers and customers on their proper use.
• Work primarily with underground fiber optic cable installation.
• Travel to dealerships and job sites across the nation for 1-3 day demonstrations or training events.
• Frequently visit the factory in Huron, SD for training.
• Assist the sales department in following up on leads and scheduling visits.
Qualifications & Requirements:• Extensive experience in underground and overhead cable installation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with cable trailer operations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Production AssemblerProduction Assembler I
Job Summary:
Assembles machines, equipment, and their subassemblies according to company’s needs, following blueprints and other written and verbal specifications. Plans assembly procedures, following specifications and using knowledge gained by experience. Use of hand files or portable grinders, to clean parts or to produce close fit between parts. Drills, taps or reams holes, using portable drill. Aligns components, and bolts or screws using hand tools or portable powered tools. Installs moving parts, for example shafts, levers, or bearings, and works them to test free movement. Test or assist in testing operation of completed product lines. Uncrating equipment from suppliers for production and crating equipment for shipment. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Key Responsibilities:
#1 - Assembly:Assemble trailers, machines and other sub-assemblies.
Read and interpret process documentation, drawings, prints, diagrams, and/or schematics.
Pull parts from inventory to assemble trailers.
Complete paperwork such as work orders, forms and checklists associated with assembly of device.
Basic testing, troubleshooting and inspection of assembled products for defects and quality.
Document and update assembly processes as necessary.
#2 - Warehouse:Uncrating equipment from suppliers to get sub-assemblies ready for final assembly and test.
Crating of equipment for shipment to customer.
Assist loading and unloading of container shipments and trucks
Help organize and track equipment inventory in warehouse.
#3 - Engineering Department Interface:Maintain communication with engineers on issues regarding current systems.
#4 - Miscellaneous:Maintain inventory accuracy. Participate in cycle counting program. Notify Supervisor of count discrepancies and shortages.
Train other co-workers as needed.
Work Safely. Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:High school diploma or G.E.D.
Minimum of 0-5 years previous experience.
Good mechanical aptitude.
Ability to understand and interpret drawings.
Excellent hand to eye coordination.
Basic knowledge of hand and power tool usage.
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently following general procedures.
Ability to handle multiple tasks.
Ability to operate general office equipment such as telephone, copier, fax, computer, etc.
Working Conditions:Use of skills requiring motor coordination with finger dexterity (e.g. machine operation, power tools, pneumatic nail guns, etc.) during most of a normal workday.

You will operate appropriate equipment to put together mechanical structures or parts. Your job is important as it provides the foundation for strong infrastructure. A welder must be competent in using potentially dangerous equipment following all safety precautions. The ideal candidate will have a steady hand and great attention to detail. Knowledge of different kinds of metal thicknesses and welding procedures.
Responsibilities:
• Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures
• Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
• Set up components for welding according to specifications
• Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded
• Align components using tape measure and clamp pieces
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead)
• Repair or manufacture components by welding pieces and filling gaps
• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws

Drafter / DesignerLarson Cable Trailers is looking for a Drafter / Designer with primarily Solid Works, with knowledge in Inventor and/or AutoCAD experience. This person will be working with our current Project Managers on trailer projects, ranging from making changes to the current product line to jig design and detailing, to making prints and document processes.
Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the Drafting and Design Specialist is responsible for all areas in relation to designing structural and other miscellaneous projects for Larson Cable Trailers Inc. The Design Specialist gathers details and compiles data to design various projects and structures according to all specifications. Their main responsibility is to produce designs, manufacturing ready models and quality drawings. Will possess experience with standard concepts, practices and procedures in commercial and residential construction manufacturing and product design. Has the necessary experience to be able to judge, plan and complete customer and company goals. Able to multitask, and meet deadlines, while working under minimal supervision from the Project Manager
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Must produce complete, accurate and detailed drawings/diagrams.
Analyze and interpret blueprints and documentation to create accurate shop drawings.
Interpret drawings.
Uses blueprints and design sketches to ensure the proper dimensions and tolerance levels of the finished product.
Facilitate and resolve any design variations or issues.
Coordinate with Project Managers for changes or adjustments to drawings
Create and check completed fabricated drawings for the shop.
Present drawings and information on projects to Shop manager/Supervisors. Work to answer all questions related to the drawings/blueprints to ensure accuracy and reduction in reworks.
Familiar with a variety of manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures.
Participate in the Company's team process to develop and improve manufacturing processes and procedures.
Maintain work area in a clean and orderly fashion. Help lead the effort to achieve all quality and safety procedures.

Qualification Job Functions:
